ART PRINTS – SALES, RETURNS & PURCHASE POLICY

At TRANSCENDENCE, our art prints are created to make original artwork accessible as collectible and decorative pieces. Each print is produced with care and attention to the artwork, printing quality, paper, and presentation.

By purchasing a TRANSCENDENCE art print, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Art Prints

TRANSCENDENCE may offer prints of original artworks in different sizes, formats, papers, editions, and finishes.

Product descriptions will specify the relevant details wherever applicable, including:

  • Print size

  • Paper or print medium

  • Edition type

  • Edition number, where applicable

  • Whether the print is signed

  • Whether the print is framed or unframed

  • Any other relevant product specifications

Unless specifically stated on the product page, frames, mounts, certificates, or other accessories are not included with the print.

2. Original Artwork & Reproductions

The purchase of an art print does not transfer ownership of the original artwork or any intellectual property rights associated with the artwork.

All artwork, illustrations, designs, compositions, symbols, and related creative material remain the intellectual property of TRANSCENDENCE and/or the respective artist or rights holder.

Purchasing a print gives the customer ownership of the physical print purchased, but does not grant the right to:

  • Reproduce the artwork

  • Scan or digitally reproduce the print

  • Manufacture additional copies

  • Use the artwork commercially

  • Sell reproductions

  • Modify the artwork for commercial purposes

  • Use the artwork in merchandise or promotional products

Any commercial or other licensed use requires prior written permission from TRANSCENDENCE and/or the applicable rights holder.

3. Limited Edition Prints

Where a print is identified as a Limited Edition, only the stated number of prints will be produced for that edition, unless otherwise specified.

Limited Edition prints may be individually numbered and/or signed where stated in the product description.

Once the stated edition has been sold, TRANSCENDENCE may not reproduce the same artwork in the same edition or format.

However, the same artwork may, at the discretion of TRANSCENDENCE and/or the artist, subsequently appear in a different format, size, medium, collection, or edition, unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Open Edition Prints

Where a print is identified as an Open Edition, there is no fixed maximum number of copies that may be produced.

Open Edition prints may be reproduced or made available for sale while the artwork remains part of the TRANSCENDENCE collection.

5. Colour & Image Variations

Every effort is made to represent colours, details, and tones as accurately as possible on the website.

However, actual colours may vary slightly depending on:

  • Your monitor or device

  • Screen brightness and settings

  • Printing technology

  • Paper characteristics

  • Lighting conditions

Minor variations in colour, texture, or appearance that do not materially affect the artwork are not considered defects.

6. Print Size & Specifications

Please review the product description carefully before purchasing.

Dimensions stated on the website refer to the intended print dimensions and may have minor manufacturing or trimming variations.

Customers are responsible for selecting the appropriate size and format before completing their purchase.

7. Framed & Unframed Prints

Unless specifically stated, art prints are sold unframed.

Where a print is sold framed, the product description will clearly indicate that the frame is included.

Frames, mounts, glass, and other presentation materials may vary slightly from photographs shown on the website.

8. Order Processing

Art prints are generally processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

Certain prints may require additional preparation, printing, signing, numbering, or quality inspection and may therefore take longer.

Where a specific processing period applies, it will be indicated on the relevant product page.

9. Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once an art print has entered the printing, preparation, signing, numbering, or dispatch process.

If you wish to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible after placing the order.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests received before processing begins, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed.

10. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of art prints, returns or exchanges are generally not accepted for change of mind, incorrect size selection, personal preference, or dissatisfaction with colour variations that fall within normal printing differences.

Before purchasing, customers are encouraged to carefully review the product description, dimensions, edition information, and presentation details.

11. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Prints

If your print arrives damaged, defective, or different from the product ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photographs of the print

  • Clear photographs of the packaging

  • Photographs showing any damage

  • A brief description of the issue

After reviewing the matter, TRANSCENDENCE may, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, repair, refund, or other suitable resolution.

Please do not return an item without first contacting us and receiving return instructions.

12. Damage After Delivery

Art prints are delicate products and should be handled and stored appropriately.

Damage resulting from the following after delivery is not eligible for a refund or replacement:

  • Improper handling

  • Moisture or water exposure

  • Folding or bending

  • Improper mounting or framing

  • Direct exposure to excessive sunlight

  • Accidental damage

  • Improper storage

  • Normal wear and tear

13. Shipping

Shipping and delivery of art prints are governed by our Shipping Policy.

We take reasonable care to package prints securely for transportation. However, once a shipment has been handed over to the courier, delivery times and transit conditions may be outside our control.

14. Certificates & Edition Numbers

Where a Limited Edition print includes a certificate of authenticity, signature, or edition number, these details will be specified on the relevant product page.

Edition numbers are allocated as part of the production process and cannot generally be selected by the customer, unless specifically offered as an option.

15. Personal Use

Art prints are sold for personal, decorative, and collectible use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The purchaser may display the physical print in their home, office, or other personal space.

Purchasing a print does not grant permission to reproduce, photograph for commercial purposes, distribute, publish, or commercially exploit the artwork.

16. Pricing & Availability

Prices, editions, print sizes, paper types, and availability may change from time to time.

TRANSCENDENCE reserves the right to discontinue an artwork, edition, size, or print format without prior notice.

The price applicable at the time an order is successfully placed will apply to that order.

17. Intellectual Property

All artwork remains protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

No ownership of the copyright or underlying artwork is transferred through the purchase of an art print.

Any unauthorized reproduction, commercial use, distribution, or creation of derivative works may constitute an infringement of applicable intellectual property rights.
